In 1970, The Boston Patriots had their first season in the NFL, and the eleventh season as an organization. It was a rough transition. The Patriots ended the season of with a record of two wins and twelve losses. The very next season, they chose to change the name to the “New England” patriots and the team has been on the ascent ever since!
